Scott Broomfield is one of three Managing Partners of Dynamic Technology Ventures (DTV), an early to mid-stage venture firm. DTV is affliated with DDCM, a $600M investment fund based out of Milan, Italy. In this capacity, Mr. Broomfield has successfully lead venture investments in four technology businesses; two that have had successful exits and two that are currently performing well and have yet to exit.
Scott has a extensive history of both high tech start-ups and high tech turn arounds. Currently, Scott is the CEO of Veeple, a VaaS, web services company that makes any video on the web clickable. Veeple is a portfoilio company of DTV. Previously, Mr. Broomfield was the CEO of CALLIXA Corporation, an Enterprise Information Integration software company that he sold to SAP software in 2005. From 2001 through 2004, Mr. Broomfield led Visuale, a private Business Process Management software company, and in April of 2004 he sold the business to Onyx Software Corporation. From 1998 through 2001, Mr. Broomfield led Centura Software Corporation (formerly Gupta), a public software company, where he was recruited to turn around and re-build the business. Mr. Broomfield successfully repositioned Centura in the wireless enterprise computing market and delivered significant capital return to its major investors, before selling the business to Platinum Equity Holdings in 2001. From 1989 through 1997, he was a principal with Hickey & Hill, Inc. a business re-engineering and turn around consultancy. While with Hickey & Hill, Mr. Broomfield restructured over 30 businesses and also held senior operational, financial and advisory positions with Trilogy, Dazix, Etec, InVision Technologies and Samsung. Currently, Mr. Broomfield advises on 4 boards: AIM Technologies, St. Bernard Software, Sustainable Life Media, and Veeple. Mr. Broomfield is a graduate of Azusa Pacific University, with honors, and holds a MBA from Santa Clara University.
