After spending 12 years as a Hitech Entrepreneur (Co-Founder Amobee, Founder Publicis WebImage, Billme etc), Saul Rurka decided to make a change. His next venture would be one that would make a difference to the community, he wanted to find an acute "pain" that not only needed a solution, but a cause that would change the lives of others who were spending their lives giving of themselves.Rurka decided to become a social entrepreneur and over the last 5 years has worked full-time on the Benji Hillman Foundation, a home and guidance center for lone soldiers that is being built in Raanana.
Over the past few years he has also been asked to sit on a number of boards of startups (in some cases as active Chairman) . The request usually came from investors who needed someone who has been through the process and knows how to help younger entrepreneurs find their way in the hitech world. He finds this role as "active mentor" one of his most rewarding positions to date.
Other achievements include raising money for startups, (not just his own companies), in different stages and exits in some of his own companies. Mr. Rurka is also an avid animal activist and is affiliated with a number of organizations in this area.
