Sara Pereira brings a fresh and energetic approach to communications. She has an extensive background in media, consumer marketing, public relations and business development.
Prior to founding Sara Pereira: Marketing & Communications, Sara worked for NUVO Magazine and served on the Board of Directors for the BC Association for Magazine Publishers. Her time in the media world has given her a keen understanding of how to create, present and connect with media. Sara also worked in business development and communications for Silver Lining, where she managed a portfolio of clients and specialized in media relations and events.
Sara holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from the University of British Columbia. She dedicates her time to various causes, volunteers PR and marketing services for community groups and publications including Lusitania and is a mentor at the YWCA. Sara has been professionally trained in public speaking and speech arts since the age of 5 and enjoys working with young people to encourage confidence and technique in the way that they communicate.
