Sangeet is a widely published technology analyst and innovation consultant. He researches digital markets and platform economics, in collaboration with the world’s leading platform economists at the MIT Centre for Digital Business. As a former incubator and innovation leader, he has had extensive experience leading early stage ventures from idea stage to a functioning business.
Sangeet writes the popular blog Platform Thinking, which analyses disruption and innovation in digital markets. Platform Thinking is rated among the top startup management blogs globally by the Harvard Business School’s Rock Centre for Entrepreneurship and has been recommended by WSJ’s All Things Digital, GigaOm and Inc. Magazine.
Sangeet is a contributing author to the book “Managing Startups” (OReilly Media), which also features Steve Blank, Paul Graham, Eric Ries among others. He has also written opinion pieces for the Harvard Business Review and the Wall Street Journal’s MarketWatch publication. His work has been regularly featured on the TechCrunch, TheNextWeb, Forbes, Wired, The Hindu and other leading media.
He was earlier responsible for leading new venture incubations and early stage investments at Intuit, across Asia-Pacific. His incubations include Fasal, India’s largest mobile agriculture marketplace, featured on leading media globally. It has also been featured as an Harvard Business School Case Study.
He is a mentor at leading incubators and accelerators including 500Startups, The Founder Institute, JFDI, Startup Leadership Program, and Bombacamp. He serves on the advisory board of prominent startups like SkillShare.
