S. Michelle Farr - over twenty years of broad-ranging assignments including extensive experience in strategic planning, policy, and organizational development. Expert in social media planning for government and non-profit organizations. Strong technical skills and unique mix of homeland security, intelligence, government, military and private sector experience. She is a full-time government consultant and a member of the INSA Homeland Security Intelligence Council.
In addition to her full-time job as a government consultant with LMI (www.lmi.org), Ms. Farr started her own small consultancy called “Making Connections.”
Making Connections was formed to raise awareness of familial diseases and provide help to those looking for answers. Making Connections advocates for open government, open data, collaboration and transparency of health information. They actively work with groups and organizations on how to use social media to best reach their constituents. Making Connections connects people to nonprofits, government agencies and other social groups so that they can have ready access to needed information.
