Samit Malkani is an advertising and digital marketing Creative Director, currently serving as Creative Head at Jack In The Box Worldwide.
At Jack In The Box Worldwide, he leads a team of Creative Strategists, Content Writers and Designers in developing integrated brand solutions. His work spans a wide range of media - TVCs, print and outdoor, online marketing, mobile marketing, desktop/mobile/tablet apps, social media, video production, content creation, search and online reputation management.
Prior to this, Samit was Creative Partner (West + South) at Yahoo! India. He led a team of 7 creative professionals in churning out cutting-edge digital solutions for brands, taking advantage of the content, media and technology properties Yahoo! owns. Samit was responsible for the creative product for advertisers all across India, except Delhi.
Before Yahoo!, Samit led the digital creative team at Linteractive, the digital wing of Lowe Lintas (one of India’s top advertising agencies), working on categories like finance, electronics, retail, fashion, FMCG, household care, health, education and accessories, among others. Part of his mandate was also to seed digital as a way of life at Lowe Lintas.
Prior to Linteractive, Samit was a copywriter at Lowe Lintas, where he began his career. He worked on seminal brands like Tata Tea, Bajaj Auto, Johnson’s Baby, VIP bags, Idea Cellular, HSBC, Tilda Rice, and several others. His work was rewarded with several Effies - the Ad Club of Bombay’s award for advertising effectiveness.
Apart from advertising, digital and overall geekdom, Samit’s interests include reading, writing, blogging, bartending, cricket, F1 and all sorts of trivia.
