Samir Housri is an associate of Rho Ventures.
He joined Rho in 2010 with a broad range of experience in digital media that spans operations, technology and strategy. Most recently, he was part of EMI Music’s global business development team where he drove the launch of EMI’s ad-supported video platform. He was also involved in all aspects of digital content licensing and distribution, including contract negotiations, technical implementation and monetization.
Prior to EMI, Samir served as a management consultant with Bain & Company where he worked on strategy for technology and media clients. He started his career as a software engineer for Major League Baseball and was a key member of the team that built MLB.com.
