Samir is responsible for analyzing and reviewing business plans, conducting diligence of potential investments and working with Comcast Ventures portfolio companies. He focuses primarily on early-stage consumer Internet and enterprise software companies, including content, mobile software, commerce, advertising, and productivity applications.
Prior to joining Comcast Ventures, Samir worked in the Corporate Development Group at Yahoo!, where he was involved in the acquisitions of Zimbra and Maven Networks, along with various other corporate initiatives. Preceding Yahoo!, Samir was a Senior Analyst at Cornerstone Research, where he worked closely with leading academic experts to analyze economic and financial issues arising in business litigation.
Samir holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from UC Berkeley.
