Sam Hodges is an entrepreneurial executive and investor. He currently is the Founder and Managing Director of Funding Circle USA, which was created by merging Endurance Lending Network (which he co-founded) with Funding Circle, thereby creating the world's first dedicated, global marketplace for small business loans.
In addition to Funding Circle, Sam serves as a Partner at Endurance Companies, an incubator and investor of entrepreneurial projects, through which he serves as a board member of WorkingPoint Software and Clinical Metabolimics.
Previously, Sam served as VP of Business Development at SecondMarket. He joined SecondMarket from the investment team at FirstMark Capital (formerly Pequot Ventures), which invests in a wide range of Information and Applied Technology companies, especially New Media (Internet, Content, Advertising), Application Software, Infrastructure, and Data and Analytics businesses.
Sam has an MBA and MS from Stanford University and graduated magna cum laude from Brown University.
