Salvador Medrano is an internet marketing & sales professional based in the Inland Empire area of Southern California, just east of Los Angeles.
After working for more traditional display advertising companies, Medrano started his internet sales and marketing career helping to transition the Southern California branch of perennial industrial publisher Thomas Industrial Network, from the traditional B2B publishing company that it was, into ThomasNet.com, one solely based on the web.
From their he transitioned to a position at Adapt Technologies, a company focused on simplifying PPC advertising for advertising agencies & SMB’s, and which eventually sold to Southern California based Webvisible.
There at the dawn of the new and booming Los Angeles Tech scene, he explored the power of social media marketing and influence under the monikers @darknight247 and @medranoworks.
Medrano also founded the Inland Empire tech group techIE, is the Online Community Manager of the Los Angeles branch of Autism Speaks and is the Director of Marketing & Business Development for IE based rcmnd, llc which will be launching its first project, atfight.me, sometime in the first quarter of 2012.
