Ryan Scott is the Vice President of Marketing at Seamless, the leading mobile and online service for ordering delivery and takeout food from more than 11,000 top restaurants in the US and UK.
Ryan joined Seamless in July 2010 and leads the consumer marketing initiatives that drive top and bottom-line growth using digital, offline acquisition, PR and CRM strategies, while simultaneously advancing distribution partnerships.
Prior to joining Seamless, Ryan was a Director of Marketing at DirectTV where he was responsible for setting and executing the overall branding, consumer and business-to-business marketing, revenue monetization and self-services strategy for directv.com. This included customer communications, merchandising, creative and offer strategy, affiliate partnerships, email marketing, mobile and social media. Before DirectTV, Ryan was the Director of Marketing at American Express and The Street.com. Ryan earned his Masters in Strategic Advertising and Brand Communication from Columbia University, and his Bachelor of Arts in Anthropology, Marketing and Economics from the State University of New York at Buffalo.
