Ryan King

Ryan King is the Chief Operating Officer and Vice President of Engineering for Plaxo. His responsibilities include overseeing all software development, quality assurance, and operations at Plaxo as well as owning product and engineering for a business unit that provides technology for online media and entertainment properties, communications tools, and next generation interactive television within Comcast. Ryan joined Plaxo in January 2003 as one of the first engineers and was instrumental in architecting, designing, and building the Plaxo servers and service, and was critical in helping the service grow and scale.

Prior to joining Plaxo, Ryan served as Manager of Engineering at Liberate Technologies. In this role, Ryan designed and delivered a suite of enterprise software products for cable and satellite operators for web browsing, interactive TV, and video on demand.

Ryan holds a Masters of Science in Computer Science from Stanford University and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from UCLA.
