Ryan Goldstein is a Biomedical Engineering PhD student at Drexel University. In May 2009, he graduated from the University of Pennsylvania’s School of Engineering and Applied Science. He was awarded a Bachelor of Science in Engineering (BSE) degree. He majored in bioengineering with minors in nanotechnology, biophysics, and engineering entrepreneurship.
He is the founder and CEO of ChronoWake, a company based on a product that utilizes advanced physiological signal analysis and processing in order to wake the user at an ideal time to significantly reduce grogginess in the morning. ChronoWake was accepted to the very competitive and selective Wharton Venture Initiation Program and the Weiss Tech House Innovation Fund; ChronoWake was also selected as one of eight Wharton Venture Award finalists for $10,000 cash, as well as one of 10 PennVention finalists for over $60,000 in cash and prizes.
