Broad experience in both industry and service providers, including venture capital & strategy consultancy. Working with key vendors (Cisco, ALU, Samsung etc) and carriers (Vodafone, ATT, Softbank, Clearwire etc).

Developed the concept of the femtocell (and ‘small cells’ in general), with first optimized technology and market leadership at Picochip. Founder member of Femto Forum, elected to Board of Directors 2007-11, and Chair of Marketing Working Group.

Pioneered the technology & commercialization of ADSL, from technology development at ADI (with first chipset solution) through to deployment in new operators (first:telecom, Atlantic Telecom), including the first unbundled lines in UK & France.

Fellow of Institute of Engineering & Technology (FIET). Fellow of Royal Society of Arts, Manufacture & Commerce (FRSA).
