Ron Nordin is a leading entrepreneur and investor in internet and software technology companies. He has held a number of executive roles, including CEO at SQA Inc, a public software company, and Senior Partner at Atlas Venture. Currently, he serves as a Director on the Boards of several venture backed companies, including Bit9 and Embotics. Ron was a Senior Partner at Atlas Venture, a top tier venture capital firm in Boston, where he invested in a number of early stage software and internet companies, including eRoom Technologies. eRoom was acquired by Documentum in 2002 in one of the largest private software transactions of the year. Prior to Atlas, he was President and CEO of SQA Inc, a venture backed, enterprise software company. He led SQA from a start up to become a dominant player in the software QA market and a successful IPO in 1995. Under his leadership, SQA became a highly valued public company. Ron established his early career at Cognos, where he a was Senior Vice President, serving on the executive team that developed the company from a start up, through an IPO in 1986 to become one of the top 20 global software companies.
