Ron Benson is the Vice President of Engineering at OneRiot, responsible for the technology behind the company’s realtime search engine.
In 1996, Benson started Vocalpoint, which enabled users voice access to the Internet from any phone. Vocalpoint eventually sold to Telecom Italia in 2002 to help them enable their huge cellular customer base access the TI web portal from their cell phones. After Vocalpoint, he worked in Sr. programming and architect positions at several small startups, as well as, BEA Systems.
Benson has a PhD from the California Institute of Technology in Computational and Neural Systems.
