Rolando Sanz-Guerrero joined CoalTek in 2006 as Vice President of Marketing and Sales, responsible for growing the customer base as CoalTek’s first facility ramps up and new facilities are projected to come online in 2007. Prior to joining CoalTek, Mr. Sanz-Guerrero gained over 20 years of expertise in the energy industry, most recently in the coal section of DTE Energy, with previous positions at Reliant Energy and in progressive leadership positions at Lakeland Electric. Mr. Sanz-Guerrero has held leadership positions in energy related associations, written articles about the energy industry and co-authored two books on economics. He has Bachelor’s degrees in Economics, International Management and Business Administration, as well as a Master’s degree in Economics.
