Rogier van den Heuvel joined eBuddy in April 2008, and brings extensive executive level business development and sales experience in telecommunicaties, media, the Internet and IPTV to his rol as VP, Worldwide Sales. As part of the eBuddy management team, Van den Heuvel leads an international sales team and is responsible for all Web and mobile sales to global advertisers, media and ad agencies and ad networks. He is also responsible for B2B marketing, ad operations and online campaign management.
Prior to joining eBuddy, Van den Heuvel founded and operated Top Hill, an independent consulting firm specialized in the telecom and media sectors. Prior to founding Top Hill, he served as Director of Strategy and Business Development for Media Mall Netherlands, an open interactive IPTV/iTV platform offering personal, local and national digital online content and value added services to consumers in an interactive TV environment. Royal KPN acquired Media Mall in December 2007.
From 1997 to 2006, Van den Heuvel worked for Royal KPN, the leading telecommunications and ICT service provider in The Netherlands that offers wireline and wireless telephony, Internet and TV to consumers and end-to-end telecommunications and ICT services to business customers. While at Royal KPN, he held amongst others, the roles of Business Development Manager at KPN TV and Media, Sales Director at KPN Wholesale where he managed and was responsible for 45+ reports, and was budget responsible for annual revenue of €880 million Euros.
