Roel de Hoop is General Partner. He joined the fund as a Venture Partner in 1999. Roel was a successful entrepreneur in Internet and software industries, with expertise and considerable experience in international sales and marketing. He founded Hot-Orange in 1998 and was a CEO of this company.
Prior to Hot-Orange he joined the Dutch-based software company Prolin as a partner in 1992. As senior vice president for strategic alliances and co-owner, he played a significant role in the successful acquisition of Prolin by Hewlett-Packard in 1997. Roel began his career with Driessen Aircraft Interior Systems, the market leader in the manufacturing and sales of aircraft catering equipment.
