Robin brings more than twenty years of experience in revitalizing and executing successful marketing strategies for many distinguished corporations. As vice president of Marketing, she oversees the company’s branding and content strategy, and is responsible for the company’s overall mission, vision and voice.
Robin joins vente-privee from Hearst Corporation, where she served as Senior Vice President and Chief Brand Officer of the ELLE Group, managing all aspects of the group’s content, advertising, digital platforms, and brand development. She was also responsible for developing new business and revenue streams across all Hearst Brands.
Prior to Hearst, she was at Microsoft Corporation as Vice President, US Microsoft Advertising, where she executed sales and marketing strategies for the company’s media properties and network partners, including MSN, Windows Live, Xbox, Bing, and Facebook.
Robin also spent eight years working for Time Inc., first as President and Publisher of Real Simple magazine, and then as President of the Time Inc. Media Group. She launched Real Simple as a multi-platform brand, and helped the magazine quadruple in circulation to become Time Inc.’s fifth most profitable title in less than five years. In her role as president, Robin was responsible for all corporate sales and marketing efforts for Time Inc.’s 130+ global brands, as well as developing the corporation’s identity, and redefining its positioning from a magazine publisher to a multimedia business.
Robin has received numerous honors throughout her career including being recognized as a “Woman to Watch” by Advertising Age, one of the “21 Most Intriguing People in Media” by Min Magazine, Executive Team of the Year in Adweek, and two-time National Sales Person of the Year by the Housing Guides of America.
