Robert Lang is a Venture Partner with Hasso Plattner Ventures. He has vast entrepreneurial experience in growing and rolling out companies both nationally and internationally as well as an excellent expertise in telecoms and consumer internet. In addition to being a Venture Partner Robert has an operational role as COO of Result - an advisory Group helping successful entrepreneurs to establish their businesses outside their home market. Robert started his career as consultant for the London based strategy Consulting Group LEK. In 1999 he left the consulting world and has since been involved in the creation and growth of startup companies. Before joining HPV Robert was the Head of Europe and Country Manager Germany for fon.com - the world’s largest WiFi community, which grew from almost zero to 1 million users in 2008. Robert has a degree in Business Administration, doing his studies in Koblenz, Paris (HEC) and at Stockholm School of Economics.
