Robb is a General Partner of New Markets Venture Partners. He has over 12 years of venture capital experience with NMVP, and as the Managing Director for Central and Eastern Europe for the Small Enterprise Assistance Fund (SEAF). Robb is the lead partner and serves as a board observer for BDMetrics, Navtrak, Appfluent, and ARPU. Robb also serves on the board of Egeen International and the Conflicts Advisory Board of the off-shore hedge funds managed by Deutsche Asset Management’s Absolute Return Strategies Group
Prior to working at NMVP, Robb worked with Small Enterprise Assistance Funds (SEAF), an emerging market venture capital company, as a Managing Director. Robb served on the board of SEAF portfolio companies in industries including pharmaceutical distribution, cable television, internet services, food retail and distribution, biotechnology, and enterprise software. SEAF manages $150 million in small business equity investment funds operating in a total of 10 countries, with over 150 portfolio companies.
During his career Robb has also worked as an associate with the Private Equities Group at the Calvert Group, a $5 billion socially responsible mutual fund and has worked for two start-up companies.
Robb was a visiting professor at the University of Warsaw’s School of Business teaching finance to MBA candidates and has been a guest speaker the at the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern and at the Johnson School of Business at Cornell. Robb graduated from the University of Vermont, with a major in History, and he holds a MBA with Honors from the Georgetown University School of Business.
Robb is married and the proud father of three children.
