Robb conducts External Affairs for Genability and is an expert in the regulatory landscape for Utilities, renewable energy and smart grid in North America. Previously, Robb was founder and president of Ecofuels Canada, a company spearheading the alternative fuels marketplace in Canada. Robb is a licensed attorney in Ontario and the British Columbia. Robb holds a Bachelor of Law (LLB) degree from the University of New Brunswick.
The North American electricity grid is undergoing a transformation. Genability intends to play a critical role, by making energy pricing information available and relevant to consumers. We launched our consumer-facing website www.whatsmypower.com on March 1, 2011. Next, we plan to open up our APIs to the developer community on April 4, 2011. Our own suite of consumer—and provider (ie. storage, generation, commercial)—facing apps will follow shortly.
