Rishi is the VP of Corporate Development and Strategy at twitter. Prior to twitter, Rishi worked at Square as Head of Corporate Development, and earlier, as Head of Strategic Partnerships. Prior to Square, Rishi co-founded FanSnap, the leading live event ticket search company, which was acquired by Nextag, Inc. Rishi co-founded FanSnap during his first year of Harvard Business School while serving as an Entrepreneur-in-Residence at General Catalyst Partners. Previously, Rishi worked at Google, where he built the business model and helped launch business development for the Google PrintAds B2B advertising exchange, and served as Director of Strategy, Corporate Development, and Business Development for MTV Networks. There he focused on acquisitions, strategic investments, and new business development in the online community, video sharing, and online music spaces. Rishi also was an investment professional at Highland Capital Partners, a leading Boston-based venture capital firm, where he focused on enterprise software and digital media. He began his career as an investment banker in the Corporate Finance Division of the Morgan Stanley Technology Group. Rishi received a BA in Economics and MS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University, and an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
