Richard’s background is in strategic marketing and business development across the finance and media industries.
His experience includes a number of senior strategy, marketing and business development roles in the finance sector, including at Lloyd’s of London and Willis Group. Following a stint as a management consultant, he became Director of Marketing and a co-owner of Higham Dunnett Shaw, which was sold to Capita Group in 2007. He went on to become a consultant and adviser to a number of firms involved in TV, film and music production, before joining the board of Curverider, the company behind Elgg, the leading social networking software.
Curverider was sold to Thematic Networks in December 2010 and more recently Richard joined CitySocialising, where his focus is on the commercial development of the business.
