Rick Vorhaus, Senior VP of Business Development, spent the past 3 years investing in and advising new media companies in Europe and the US before joining Adify. Vorhaus was formerly Vice President in Media Service for Excite, Europe heading up media sales and ecommerce for Excite, UK and their wholly-owned subsidiaries across Europe. He began his six year tenure at Excite in 1995 building out the original US sales organization. In 1998 Vorhaus took on the role of VP, International Sales for Exite@Home, helping to build out sales operations in Japan, Australia and Canada before moving to London in 1999. Prior to Excite@Home, Vorhaus was the first Director of National Sales for the Web’s original site representation firm, Poppe.com where he sold some of the Web’s first ads on Netscape, Playboy and others. Poppe.com later became Doubleclick. Previously, Vorhaus spent 10 years in various ad sales roles with Freedom Communications and The New York Times’ Regional Newspaper Group.
