Rick Patch serves as Chief Executive Officer and President of LifePics Inc. Mr. Rick is a pioneering software executive and entrepreneur with over 25 years experience in information technology and in building early-stage companies. He was a founding member and former President of Micro Decisionware Inc., a successful VC-backed company that was ultimately sold to Sybase Inc. He was also a founding partner at Sequel Venture Partners, a venture capital firm with over $400M in assets. As part of Sequel, he invested in and built numerous successful Internet and Enterprise software companies. Some examples include MatchLogic (acquired by Excite), Dante (acquired by WebMethods), Service Magic (acquired by IAC), Bid4Vacations (acquired by I.C.E.), and BlueCurve (acquired by Red Hat Inc.). He serves as Director of Productbuzz Inc. He served as Director of RioLabs. Mr. Patch earned his BS, Computer Based Information Systems, from the University of Colorado.
