Founder & CEO of BranchOut.com and Talk.co. Rick has been a pioneer in social media and a serial entrepreneur for the past 15 years.

Rick is the Founder & CEO of BranchOut - the largest professional network leveraging the social graph, with over 800 million profiles. BranchOut has raised $49 million from Accel Partners, Redpoint Ventures, Mayfield Fund, Norwest Venture Partners and a dozen of the top angel investors in Silicon Valley.

Rick is also the Founder & CEO of Talk.co - a real-time messaging service for teams. Talk.co allows co-workers to chat in a secure, productive way from their mobile device (iOS and Android) or desktop.

Prior to founding BranchOut and Talk.co, Rick was the Founder & CEO of SuperFan, a profitable social entertainment site that produced social games for clients including CBS, MTV, Universal Music, Warner Music and others.

Prior to founding SuperFan, Rick was the Co-Founder, CFO & Chief Strategist for Tickle.com. Tickle was one of the largest social media sites on the Internet and with over 200 million registered users. Tickle operated as a profitable company with close to $40 million of annual revenue. In 2002, Tickle won the “Rising Star” Webby Award as the fastest growing site on the Web and became a top 20 global Internet site. In 2004, Tickle was acquired by Monster Worldwide for over $100 million.

Rick currently serves as an investor or Advisory Board member to more than 30 companies including DreamWorks, AngelList, Aston Martin Racing, ApartmentList, Wanelo, Dot&Bo, Scripted, Moonfrye, FitMob, ReTargeter, Swell Radio, August Lock, Lumosity, Nuzzel, Stipple, Tugboat Yards, Radius Intelligence, SmartRecruiters, SOMA Water, Sprig, MediaSpike, Wavii, Founder’s Den and more. He served as National Co-Chair for “Technology for Obama” and is a Board Member of “Technology for America” and a Co-Chair of FWD.us.

Rick received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration at the University of New Hampshire, magna cum laude, and an MBA from Harvard.
