Richard Zeidel joined Sonic Boom as Partner in October 2011. Sonic Boom is a digital and social media agency operating as an integrated subsidiary of NATIONAL Public Relations. Together with Managing Partner Sylvain Perron, Richard oversees all operations, financial management, staffing, top-level client service and overall business direction and growth for the firm at an international level.
Before joining Sonic Boom, Richard was Vice President, Strategic Alliances of Tungle.Me, a cross-platform social calendaring application. In his role, Richard led the strategic planning and execution of the company’s go-to-market strategy through to acquisition by Research in Motion (RIM) in April, 2011.
Prior to that, Richard was Vice President, Sales, North America for iPerceptions Inc, a Montreal based firm providing proprietary online research solutions for website optimization.
A natural entrepreneur, Richard has been involved throughout his career in the development and fast growth of some of Canada’s leading Internet start-ups working alongside them to develop their interactive strategies. Richard began his career by founding MediaFactory, a web development company in 1995 and later merged it with K-OS Multimedia. Subsequent to the merger Richard became the executive responsible for launching Publicis’ digital division in Canada.
