Richard Thompson is Co-founder and Chairman of Solon. He has an MA from Cambridge University and subsequently qualified professionally, both as a chartered engineer and a management consultant. He is Chairman of Thompson Clive & Partners Limited, a company he co-founded in 1977. He was also the first Chairman of Pantheon Holdings Limited from 1988-96.
