Richard is a seasoned sales and marketing leader with 15 years of software-as-a-service experience. Richard joined Zuora in 2010 to help build a world class sales organization anchored in customer success and built around rapid repeatable processes. Prior to joining Zuora Richard was influential in the impact of two innovative and disruptive technologies, SuccessFactors and salesforce.com. While at SuccessFactors, Richard played a key role in enabling scalable and high growth sales, both in the US and abroad, as the company grew from $100-$150 million in revenue. As an early RVP of Sales at salesforce.com, he helped forge the way into new markets and was vital in the development of many of the sales operational processes that helped grow the company from $7 million to, a public company, with over $100 million in revenue. Richard consistently demonstrates his ability to help companies scale and develop into new and rapidly expanding markets. He has a proven track record of establishing a strong foundation of client and community evangelists, ensuring viable and long term market traction and success. Richard earned his B.S in Civil Engineering from the University of California at Davis and an MBA from the University of San Francisco.
