After moving to the US at the age of 12, Richard Talens found himself becoming the chubby kid in class (he looked comically identical to the kid from Up) and became interested in fitness after topping 220 lbs. A few years after turning a complete 180, Richard caught the fitness bug and competed in a couple of bodybuilding competitions at the University of Pennsylvania (Wharton ‘09). Prior to Fitocracy, Richard worked at comScore doing product management for their AdEffx product suite.
