Richard held various senior positions in SAP in financial services, insurance, treasury and cross-industry solutions marketing.
Richard was responsible for the launch of SAP’s flagship solution mySAP ERP at CeBit 2003. He conceived and led the first Best of SAP World Tour program in 2004 and 2005.
As Board Director of Orbian Inc. was instrumental in bringing this SAP joint venture with Citibank to market. As SVP Marketing at Redwood was awarded the prestigious SAP Pinnacle Award 2006 and the UK SAP Top ISV Partner Excellence Award 2006.
Richard holds UK government security clearance. In his role as Head of Mobile Data Systems at Airwave Solutions Richard was instrumental in the adoption of PDAs by a number of UK police forces.
Richard launched the world’s first online comparative insurance motor quotation system INVIEW using the videotext technology of Prestel - the precursor to the web.
