Richard Ludlow is the founder and CEO of Academic Earth, a platform for full video courses from leading universities.
In 2005, Richard founded the Yale Economic Review, a Popular Science-style economics magazine which publishes articles from economists on emerging research, as well as interviews with thought leaders including Milton Friedman, John Nash, and Robert Solow. The student-run magazine is distributed nationally at Barnes and Noble and Borders stores.
In 2003, he founded Students for Organ Donation with the goal of promoting donor registration. With funding from the Goldman Sachs Foundation and the US Department of Health and Human Services, the organization has registered more than 100,000 organ donors on 120 college campuses.
Richard graduated in 2007 with a BA and MA in Economics from Yale University and deferred admission to Harvard Business School in order to start Academic Earth.
