Rich Erickson, a General Partner at Updata Partners, brings over 20 years of experience in public and private application development and systems integration companies.
He started his career in the early 1980’s with one of the TCP/IP Internet network pioneers, Excelan, where he participated in the company’s growth, IPO and ultimate sale to Novell. From 1987 until 1997, as one of two principals of Digital Network Associates (DNA), a private network and systems integrator, he guided the growth of the company through its ultimate sale to United States Office Products. At USOP he subsequently played a key role in the acquisition, divestiture, and integration of numerous technology services businesses.
