Richard has over twenty years experience in the field of optimization science as applied to online advertising, auto pricing, airline revenue management, strategic decision-making in the oil and gas industry, investment valuation for e-businesses, and portfolio management in the electric utility industry.
Richard has also served as a Director at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Applied Decision Analysis, where he pioneered the development and implementation of real option valuation methodologies for asset valuation. Richard holds a Ph.D. in operations research from Stanford University and both bachelors and master’s degrees in mathematics from Cambridge University.
