Ricard Söderberg

Ricard Söderberg started his professional career in 1995 working for Credit Suisse First Boston in New York and London, he undertook an executive position within the fixed income markets acting towards central banks on a global level and then later focused on the Scandinavian markets. In 1998, he was part of setting up the Merrill Lynch office in Barcelona heading the active portfolio management department and also actively involved in the fundraising of private equity funds from Spain and the US. After a period as an Associate Director with UBS Barcelona office in 2001-2002, he left to set up Active Capital Partners in 2002, Molins Capital Inversión in 2004 and Active Venture Partners in 2009. Currently he is a member of the Board of Directors of Golden Gekko, European Telemedicine Clinic and Companía General de Inversiones.

He graduated from the European Business School London in 1995, CSFB Fixed Income course in New York in 1996, and Venture Capital Course in IESE Barcelona in 2003.
