Ricard is an entrepreneur born in Barcelona living in San Francisco.
He is Director at YouNoodle, a start-up company based in a garage office in SOMA, San Francisco, where they are building an ecosystem of entrepreneurs all over the world, to help organizations innovate faster as an open innovation strategy.
After 5 years in a technology park working close several tech start-ups to provide fundraising from the venture capital, he joined the Barcelona City Council to design the investment strategy for the start-ups located in the innovation district 22@Barcelona, with more than 1.500 companies 10 universities and 45.000 workers. He is the former lead organizer for bizBarcelona (HiT Barcelona), the biggest entrepreneurial summit from southern Europe with more than 12,000 entrepreneurs. He was the manager the Global Entrepreneurship Competition, international start-up competition where the winners of the business plans competitions from the most prestigious business schools from 16 cities and 14 countries competed to be the world champions.
He is member of the San Francisco – Barcelona sister cities committee and co-organizer of the TEDxEmbarcadero. He holds a Telecommunications engineering degree, MBA at La Salle and Executive education at UC Berkeley.
