Raul Varela joined Rivet Software in November of 2009. He brings a technical perspective and business acumen to his role as VP of Strategic Partnerships.
A former project manager, Raul understands the nuances of IT implementation as well as the impact of new technology on the business user. This experience allows him to channel that work into a direct understanding of his clients’ needs and challenges.
Prior to joining Rivet, he served in various leadership roles at OppenheimerFunds, Inc., J.D. Edwards and several software companies. He earned a Mechanical Engineering degree from the Colorado School of Mines and holds an MBA from the University of Colorado. Raul is a Chartered Financial Analyst and a member of the CFA Society of Colorado.
