Mr. Timashev has more than a decade of entrepreneurial experience. In 1993, he founded Midwestern Commerce, the predecessor of Aelita Software, and in the capacity of CEO has led the company to an extraordinary growth. In 2004, after Aelita was acquired by Quest Software, Timashev took the position of General Manager of Microsoft Business Unit at Quest. Having worked in Quest Software for about a year, Ratmir founded 2 new companies, - AMUST Software and Veeam Software - and headed them as president.
Timashev received his master’s degree from Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology in 1990 and master’s degree in Chemical Physics from Ohio State University in 1995.
