Ran Gartenberg contributes financial and economic expertise to Vertex Venture Capital. He worked as an investment banker with Evergreen Capital Markets - Robertson Stephens, a leading international VC and investment house where he managed private placements for private and public technology companies. Between 1995 and 1998, Mr. Gartenberg served as a Senior Economist for the Israel Corporation, one of the largest diversified Investment Companies in Israel, evaluating investment and divestment opportunities, performing business and financial due diligence, and monitoring the group’s portfolio company budgets and financial statements. Prior to completing his graduate studies, Ran was a Supervising Auditor at PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Israel. Mr. Gartenberg holds a B.A. in Accounting and Economics from Tel Aviv University, Israel, a CPA license from the Institute of Certified Public Accountants in Israel, and an M.B.A. from New York University, USA.
