Rami Al-Karmi is the Investment Director and Head of N2V Labs at N2V (one of the largest Internet holding companies in the MENA region with a core business of investing in and accelerating innovative web and mobile web ventures).
Rami, is a serial entrepreneur who founded his 1st startup at the age of 19. He was one of 13 Jordanians selected to attend the Presidential summit on Entrepreneurship in washington dc on April 2010 , which President Obama announced hosting during his “A New Beginning” speech on June 4, 2009, at Cairo University in Cairo, Egypt to identify how to deepen ties between business leaders, foundations and social entrepreneurs in the United States and Muslim communities around the world.
Back in 1998 he spearheaded the team behind the engine that powers – till date - the content management and live streaming on aljazeera.net (the first Arabic news portal). while, over the past 15 years, he co-founded, led as CEO, and served on the board of a number of technology-based ventures and non-for-profit organizations , where he as service provider or employee managed multi-million dollor budget projects - like for example the 50 Million Health Reform Program of Jordan ni his capacity as an advisor to HE Minister of Health- for clients like Microsoft , Cisco , Intel , The Government of Jordan, King Abdullah II fund for Development (KAFD) , World Bank , and Donor Agencies ; USAID , UNDP , UNifem, GTZ , and Prominent Private Sector companies like Nuqul Group and aramex.
Rami is an Electrical Engineer, he completed the Senior Executive program at Rady School of Business at UC San Diego, the Venture Capital Executive Program at HAAS UC Berkely, and the Harvard Kennedy School Executive education Program ; Leadership, Organizing and Action: Leading Change.
Rami currently serves as a member of the board of directors of Shabakat Al Ordon , and a member of the board of trustees of Elia Nuqul Foundation.
