Ralph B. Thomas, CFA, is a senior vice president at Fayez Sarofim & Co. and a member of the firm’s Investment Committee. Mr. Thomas joined the company as an associate in 1968 after completing an internship in the summer of 1967. Over the years, he researched the areas of utilities, railroads, autos, oil service, chemicals, and capital goods.
Mr. Thomas received his M.B.A. and B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Texas. He is also a Chartered Investment Counsellor.
Mr. Thomas is a member of The University of Texas System Chancellor’s Council. He is a member and past chairman of The University of Texas College of Business Administration Foundation Advisory Council as well as the Development Board for The University of Texas Health Science Center of Houston. Mr. Thomas was also vice chairman of the Texas World Trade Council, appointed by the Governor of Texas.
