Previously, Rajat served as the Head of Personalization, Advertising and Merchandising Products for Rearden Commerce, where he was responsible for the e-commerce & relevance platform that is at the core of their solution. Prior to Rearden, Rajat served as the VP of Products at Buysight, a leading intent based targeting ad platform for e-commerce. Buysight was acquired by AOL. Including products, Rajat led strategy as well as business development. Prior to Buysight, Rajat was the Senior Director of Products and a founding employee at Rhythm NewMedia, a leading mobile video advertising company. Before Rhythm, Rajat held several engineering leadership positions at Oracle. He was an early member of the application server team where he led the portal and content management and publishing products. Rajat also pioneered Oracle’s initial foray into software as a service with a SAAS Portal service. The service hosted over 30,000 businesses. Rajat is an active advisor to several start ups focusing on mobile and online marketing, including MobileIron and Dezine. Rajat graduated with high honors from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelors in Computer Science. He lives in Redwood Shores and spends his free time as his son’s little league coach.
