Raj is a programmer who’s been fiddling with making digital maps since 2004. The fruit of those efforts eventually became UpNext. His goal is to bring cartography back to maps, to make them more distinct, vivid, and animated. Prior to UpNext, Raj worked as a contract software engineer and had a brief stint as a Ph.D student.
Raj received his BS in electrical engineering and computer science from UC Berkeley, and his M.Phil in Economics from Columbia University.
