Rahul Sonnad is the Founder and CEO of a location-aware mobile search company called Geodelic Systems.
Rahul Sonnad founded Geodelic Systems in early 2008. Prior to founding Geodelic, Rahul conceived and founded thePlatform, a Seattle based digital video web services company. thePlatform now services the majority of large video publishers on broadband and wireless platforms, including Hulu, Verizon Wireless, Helio, CNBC, CBS, ABC News, most Comcast properties, and dozens of other major brands. thePlatform now operates a subsidiary of the Comcast Corporation, which acquired the company in 2006.
Previously, Rahul worked at Microsoft, managing Asian versions of the Office suite, and at Adobe Systems in engineering management.
Rahul has a masters in engineering from the University of Washington and attended the Harvard Business School MBA program.
