Ten years ago Rafael Siqueira did some innovating with the business where he worked. He got some perspective, left, put together a team, built a prototype, got funding and now has a diverse portfolio of products and clients, including big ones like Google. His company, Apontador, made the 2010 AlwaysOn list of 250 best companies in the world, along with Facebook, LinkedIn, Netvibes and Zynga.
Responsible for managing R&D projects and IT Team. The penetration of location-aware devices such as latest mobile phones equipped with built-in GPS receivers, PNDs (personal navigation device) and AVL(Automatic vehicle location) devices allowed his team develops many new projects, amongst them, the collect and analysis of 12.000.000 unique users behavior based in their content search(gas prices, hotels, restaurants, ad classifieds, etc) by location, time and weather; creation of a traffic information historic database in the big cities allowing to provide predictive information and understand how people moves from one places to others.
