Prof. Dr. THOMAS M. BAYERL has over 20 years of experience in high-technology research and venture capital. He spent 4 years as partner of a leading German venture capital firm with a focus on seed financing and previously was full-time professor of Biophysics at the University of WÑŒrzburg in Germany, a member of the German Neutron Research Council and member of the Neutron Advisory Panels at the Institute Laue-Langevin in Grenoble, France and at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory, Oxford, UK. He is also a founder of Nimbus Biotechnologie GmbH, Leipzig, Germany and member of its board. He served as Chairman of the board of Panoratio Database Image GmbH in Munich and as member of the board of Optun Inc., Santa Clara, USA. Prof. Bayerl is a German national and has authored ca. 100 scientific publications.
