Phil Delansay is Aquantia’s founding president & CEO, position that he held till early 2009 as Faraj Aalaei came on board to lead the company into the next stage of expansion. Phil has held a number of management roles in the communication IC and systems industry for the past 15 years. After starting his career at NEC and Alcatel, Phil joined Lightera Networks, later acquired by Ciena. Prior to co-founding Aquantia, Phil was Entrepreneur-in-Residence at Greylock Partners. He received his Ph.D. in Semiconductor Physics from Orsay University and his MSEE from Ecole Supérieure d’Electricité, France.
