Peter Olfe is the CEO & Co-Founder of near2there, Inc. which is an innovative placemarking service. The near2there service had been a pea in the head of Peter for several years. It was not until early 2010 that it became technically feasible and he met Bob who had the skills and the experience to build it. near2there aims to be the placemarking service where people will store all of the places they want to go to.
Prior to starting near2there, Peter was the President and founder of Yojo Mobile, Inc. Yojo Mobile was an trailblazer in pre-app location-based services. Two of its services, MizPee and Yojo Mama, won numerous awards including Navteq’s LBS Challenge.
Before taking his entrepreneurial path, Peter was an executive at Nokia, working as the Director of Corporate Strategy for the Asia Pacific region.
